A simpler way to arrange your Clara call.
CareCompanion helps a participating adult and their chosen family helper organize health information. Clara is the AI companion. Our optional texts only help arrange a phone conversation with Clara; they do not contain medical records or advice.
What you receive
An invitation to choose a time, replies to clarify and confirm it, and one reminder about 15 minutes before the call. You call Clara at (843) 285-6106 from your registered phone. We do not call you automatically. Times are Eastern.
Message frequency varies with your scheduling replies. Message and data rates may apply. Texts are optional and are not a condition of purchase or participation. You can arrange the call directly with your family helper instead.
Your permission comes first
This invitation-only pilot uses verbal permission, not a public signup form or a purchased contact list. The participant agrees before scheduling texts are enabled. Their chosen helper may relay that permission; the private workspace records who reported it and when. Having medical records or a phone number alone is not permission to text.
Sample verbal permission script
“Would you like CareCompanion to send automated scheduling and reminder texts to this phone for your Clara call? Message frequency varies with your replies, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to stop or HELP for help. Texts are optional; you can still participate without them. Our SMS privacy notice and terms are available on the CareCompanion texting-information pages, and I can read them to you. Do you agree?”
This is a sample procedure, not a transcript or proof that a particular participant said these words. The helper must record actual permission; this page does not enroll anyone.
You stay in control
Reply STOP or CANCEL to end texts. You may receive one confirmation of your opt-out. HELP provides assistance. RESCHEDULE changes the Clara arrangement, and CANCEL CALL cancels only that arrangement—not a doctor appointment. Replying START after stopping can restore texting for an unused first-call arrangement; it does not automatically book a call.
Do not send medical details, passwords or urgent concerns in a text. For a possible emergency, call 911.
