Privacy for scheduling texts

This notice covers CareCompanion’s optional scheduling and reminder text program operated by Brandon Baney. It does not grant access to medical records or authorize sharing them.

Information we use

We keep your registered phone number, time zone, permission and opt-out status, scheduling replies, proposed and confirmed times, and message delivery records. We use this information to arrange your Clara call, send reminders, respect your choices and investigate delivery problems.

Who handles the information

Brandon, as the pilot’s operator and authorized family helper, can review scheduling activity. Twilio and mobile carriers process texts and delivery information. The CareCompanion workspace runs using OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. These providers process information needed to operate the program.

We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent are not shared for another party’s messaging campaigns. Service providers receive only information needed to deliver and operate this program, not permission to market to you.

Keep medical details out of texts

Outgoing scheduling messages contain no diagnoses, medication lists or medical records. SMS is not a confidential medical channel. Replies are stored in the private workspace, so please do not include medical details, passwords or identification documents.

Your choices and records

Message frequency varies with your scheduling replies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for assistance. Opting out stops future program messages but does not automatically erase prior scheduling or consent records.

Contact Brandon at theshiftreport@icloud.com to request review, correction or deletion of your scheduling information. Requests are handled manually; provider records and records needed to honor an opt-out or meet applicable obligations may remain. We do not promise automatic deletion or a fixed retention period in this pilot.
